Early branch protozoan Trypanosoma brucei cytokinesis its longitudinal axis towards the rear end of the one-way cell occurred before the tip of the new flagellum connection regions along the filament. However, the underlying mechanism is not clear.
In this study, student study groups Ziyin Li Qing Zhou et al. Demonstrated Trypanosoma brucei cytokinesis by the Polo-like kinase, under the Aurora B kinase, and trypanosomiasis CIF1 specific protein interaction regulation. The front end is Polo-like kinase phosphorylation CIF1 targeting new flagellum attachment zone fiber, which is then recruited Aurora B kinase promoter cytokinesis. CIF1 consistent with the role, CIF1 depletion inhibiting cytokinesis start from the front of the cell division, but surprisingly it will stimulate cytokinesis start from the rear of the cell, indicating activation of an alternative cell quality from the opposite ends of the cell division pathway. The results reveal a CIF1 mechanism and Polo-like kinase promoter cytokinesis and clarify the underlying mechanisms in late anaphase cells recruited to the Aurora B kinase cytokinesis initiation site. These findings also show there is an alternative when the typical front to back cytokinesis blocked pathways start from the rear end of the cell cytokinesis cell division signaling cascade control starting at the tip cells revealed .
